I am an avid diy-er and I do not trust contractors easily. Most of the ones I have used have lied to and taken advantage of me. I have had to go behind most all of them that have worked for me and fix what they did as a ‘professional’. I guess they have done this because I am a woman. However, I am not stupid and I know a lot about building and renovating. Absolute Steel has been one of the few companies/contractors I have hired that has been an exception. In fact, I will be using Absolute Steel for the construction of my barndominium in the next few months because of the outstanding, honest and reliable service they provided on the installation of my carport and RV covers.Wes Burns has been my main point of contact at the Absolute Steel location in Terrell, Texas and he has earned my trust and respect. He knows his products and has taken the time, several times, to explain options and scenarios with me. He has gone above and beyond what I believe is required of his duties and therefore, I will go to him for all of my current and future steel building needs.
I remember my first trip to the Absolute location in Terrell. I believe it was a gentleman named Chris that greeted and was willing to help me. He eventually turned me over to Wes but my point is that everyone at Absolute Steel wants to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy.I can’t say enough good/positive things about this company and the people there to help you. It is evident in the way these guys treat their customers that they enjoy what they do and this sentiment is shown in the quality of their work and products. I am as proud of my new steel structures as I’m sure they are proud to produce and install them.
I am also very happy in the fact that with their steel structure system, I can install the residential part of my barndominium on a pier and beam foundation. In the area of North Texas where I live, the black clay soil cracks and swells too much for a concrete foundation or in my mind, it does. Check out their system for this feature, too, if you’ve been thinking as I have.
I am very certain that if you do choose Absolute Steel for your steel building/covering projects, you will NOT be disappointed. In fact, I’m sure Wes and all the guys there will exceed your expectations. Give them a chance and you will see.TJeanne B. Lavon, TX February, 2017
Wes, I just wanted to thank you for getting the carport to me within the time you actually stated. We waited 4 months to receive one from Carolina and never did get it. The 6-8 weeks the dealer told me when I purchased it wasn’t even close. However, it all worked out for the best. I believe your carport is a better product. Thanks for the instructions, but we didn’t have to use them. I suspect I will be doing more business with you in the near future. I need a hay barn. Thanks againTERRY BAGE, DIME BOX, TX December, 2016
We chose Absolute Steel for our project. They installed a 45′ x 18′ RV cover with a lean to for us. Their customer service is outstanding! No pressure, no problems. We were very impressed with the quality and workmanship of our materials and installation. The quality of materials and installations we’ve seen from other companies in the area don’t compare. I can say these people know what they are doing.Annette S June 2016 - December, 2016
I bought a building from Absolute Steel in TX. Large gambrel style barn. First the materials and quality of this building are top notch. The building is in Van, TX that recently suffered a massive tornado. Our building was just feet away from homes that were totally destroyed. Three large oak trees on our lot were uprooted and thrown about. With winds in excess of 100 mph and trees falling all around it, our Absolute Steel building stood strong. Their customer service is top notch before, during, and ever since the sale. They are just really nice people and easy to work with and are always available when I want additional pieces for my building. I would ABSOLUTELY buy another building from them. Pun intended!! Highly recommended.Mike R Van, TX April, 2016
The men’s club at our church often has outdoor cooking chores – frying Thanksgiving turkeys, Lenten fish fries, etc. Needing some weather protection for our outdoor cooks, we found the two car metal carport from Absolute Steel to be a perfect shelter. Thanks to Wes and Martin.Tom Crowe April 2016
